I guess it is a good location although I don't know the city and its main pedestrian street. There is SPA center in the building so we are looking for some really nice stay at Budapest.

Nice idea about the Aquapark, but we are coming solely for the F1 race.
We are looking for something affordable - I guess 20-30 eur per night per person will be enough to get a nice place to stay.

Most of my friends are married and they come with their wifes. Some of them are living in Wien, Austria and we'll meet in Budapest. We plan to have one day for sightseeing and one day at the ring while girls are shopping.

I hope you got the point - it will not be one of those wild weekends, although being on the circuit is quite thrilling

@kempelen: I reviewed the link and contacted the administrators. I hope they will help to locate apartments close to each other because I am not familiar with the city. What I am worried about is that every apartment I reviewed in that website is permanently booked till the end of the year.

@si3rrabravo: Nice idea but there will be several girls with us who will not attend the race. We must reside in Budapest because we plan to leave them in a shopping mall during the Sunday race

Hi Ivan!

You didn't write what price category you would prefer and what your budget is. If I would come and bring girls, who don't care about Formula 1, probably would choose Ramada Hotel where the girls (and of course the boys as well) could wellness, and have fun in water theme park. The guys wouldn't be too far from the ring and it's not too expensive (and there's a shopping center quite close to the hotel for the girls). Here's the website: http://www.ramadaresortbudapest.hu/

My name is Ivan and I am Bulgarian. I am driving BMW for more than 6 years. For those years I realize that when you need help you may always turn to the local enthusiasts for support.

I have the following request:
We are a group of 10 people and plan to visit Budapest in July for the FORMULA 1 ENI MAGYAR NAGYDÍJ 2011. We decided to rent apartments in the downtown for 2 nights. I searched in Google and already approached several rentals in Budapest but none of the owners/managers replied. I guess the site is not reliable or information there is out-of-date.

I will appreciate if you can post some links to local websites that offer apartment rentals? Also if you know persons who offer such rentals please send me their contact details.

P.S.: I am posting in English because I don't speak Hungarian. In addition, I am not sure if this is the right place for posting this topic. Please excuse me if I am braking any rules.
